Treading on the Emperor's Bones

Who will share the years with me? Who will walk beside me? Who will still remember me? I was once everyone's king, but one day, it all came to nothing. How can I simply forget and let go? One day, I will tread upon the bones of emperors and make all the worlds shine. [This is a story about the Dark Immortal Emperor and Emperor Bone Bro, set before the Shrouding the Heavens trilogy. Please note that it takes place before the trilogy, not in the era connected to its three books. If you want to see interactions with characters from the trilogy in the early or middle part of the story, you can click away.]
