The Dao Lord's Little Cook Bride

Shen Ci, a Azure Dragon Guard who has served as a Dao Lord for a thousand years, mysteriously loses the ability to use his spiritual power. He casts a divination and learns that he needs a celebratory marriage to ward off misfortune. His match is Si Ling, a former Vermilion Bird Guard who has been reborn from the flames and plans to become a cook. Si Ling figures she’s already decided to live quietly as a cook, so how did she end up getting hit with a marriage to ward off misfortune? Well, if that’s how it is, she sets herself a grand goal: “You want a celebratory marriage? Then watch me conquer your stomach!” And so, the top-tier cook begins her feeding campaign: Borrow spiritual power, feed him; Borrow spiritual power, feed him! She successfully manages to fatten Shen Ci, acclaimed as the most handsome man in the world, by a whole size. Later, the once elegant and ethereal Azure Dragon Guard follows Si Ling around all day: “Wifey, please feed me!” Later still, the cook with her peerless culinary skills reveals her true identity: “Form ranks in the south. Phoenix, heed my command!”
