Cyber Journey to the West

[Flesh is frail, the machine ascends]

[Soul uploaded, consciousness eternal]

[Can an electronic Buddha also deliver a bionic ghost to salvation?]

After Tang Sanzang and his three disciples obtained the true scriptures in the West, they accidentally discovered an unspeakable secret among the gods and Buddhas, and were persecuted for it.

Their souls were shattered into eighty-one pieces, and even the remnants were tormented through endless cycles of reincarnation!

The future cyber age arrives.

The remnant soul of Wukong awakens in his eighteen-hundredth cycle of reincarnation.

To demand justice from the gods and demons of the myriad heavens, he finds his master and junior brothers, reunites the quartet, and sets off on a cyber Journey to the West, repeating the Eighty-One Tribulations!

“Eldest Brother! This is bad! Master’s about to deliver righteous justice with his iron fist to that monster again. Go talk him out of it!”

“Wukong, move aside! Your master’s going to run the damn thing over!”

“Master, you’re not suited to driving. Let Old Sun physically deliver it to salvation with my great-compassion electromagnetic-pulse Gatling gun.”

“Master, Eldest Brother, Second Brother, don’t bother. I’ve already sold that monster to Birdie Spin Spin. We’ll use the money to party tonight. My treat!”
