Reborn as a Turtle: Picked Up by Sun Dasheng from the Start

[Journey to the West + System + Evolution] Born a turtle, I apologize. After waking from a nap, Lin Fang discovers that he's in another world, where he has become a little turtle. Beside him is a monkey talking about seeking immortality, searching for a sacred mountain, and learning the art of eternal life. Lin Fang scoffs at him. Then, after a heavy rain, a sacred mountain appears before them. Mount Lingtai Fangcun? The Cave of the Slanted Moon and Three Stars? Patriarch Bodhi looks at the monkey and says, “Disciple, I shall give you the name Sun Wukong. May you cultivate diligently from now on.” Lin Fang: “...” At first, all he really wanted was to keep his head down on Mount Lingtai and escape the calamity of Journey to the West. But when he saw the celestial soldiers and generals in the sky, and that defiant figure whose staff could calm the seas and summon ten thousand demons, he couldn't hold back!! ...I'll take one hit. I'll just take one hit for him. ...Damn it, why won't this end already?! ...Let's go, let's go! Brother Monkey, the two of us will smash our way through the Heavenly Palace together!! ...You old Tathagata, go to hell!! ...Splat! From then on, besides the monkey, someone else was trapped beneath Five-Finger Mountain. ...Brother Monkey, don't rush. Five hundred years from now, we'll be heroes again. Then I'll go smash our way through the Heavenly Palace with you. Just remember, never listen to that monk's nonsense.
