Because Jiang Miao sacrificed herself to save someone, she earned the chance to become a god. The Heavenly Dao of the Origin World promised her a divine palace and two assistants if she passed the trial. In other words, once she became a god, she could spend her days lounging around and eating to her heart's content. Of course she agreed to such a sweet deal. But things turned out to be nowhere near as good as the Heavenly Dao had promised. Just to pass the trial, Jiang Miao was locked away by the Heavenly Dao for five hundred years.
