I, the Great Sage Tianpeng, Refuse to Fetch the Scriptures!

Ye Fan transmigrated into the world of Journey to the West and became Marshal Tianpeng. From the start, he refused to become a pilgrim, kidnapped Chang’e, descended to the mortal realm, and raised a banner as a demon!

“Ding! God-Tier Choice System activated successfully!”

“Ding! Congratulations, Host, on completing your choice. Reward: one Twelfth-Grade World-Destroying Black Lotus!”

“Ding! Congratulations, Host, on completing your choice. Reward: a pair of Golden Eyes of Truth!”

“Ding! Congratulations, Host, on completing your choice. Reward: one Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation!”

A third-generation disciple of the Human Sect, the Grand Magus Xuandu’s first disciple, commander of the 100,000-strong Celestial River Navy, and a man of unmatched standing and pedigree. And you want me to go on a pilgrimage? What a joke!

There’s no way I’m going on that pilgrimage. Not in this lifetime!

The Jade Emperor and the Buddha of Spirit Mountain? They think they can throw their weight around in front of this marshal?

The Three Pure Ones, Xuandu, my master and grandmaster? Today, I’m going to defy my master and ancestors!
