I Became an NPC in a Japanese-Style Game

System? Forgot to bring it. Golden finger? Nowhere to be found. Superpowers? No talent for awakening. After recognizing reality, Keiho Ochiai, an ordinary man reborn in 1980s Japan in a parallel world, resolves to pursue a career as an internet tycoon, a capitalist through and through. His goal: make the Japanese prime minister bow to him at a 90-degree angle every time they meet. But starting with an inspection trip during spring break before his second year of high school, he keeps getting caught up in strange incidents as a game NPC. As different game players come and go, mysterious Japanese-style game monsters appear, and all sorts of wondrous game items surface, the ordinary protagonist has no choice but to search for a way to clear each game while players fail again and again and reload their saves.
