The Jianghu Is Full of Forking Paths

What would you do if you killed an NPC in a game, only for a constable from the Six Doors to demand that you find the murderer?

Frame someone else... I mean, give up the quest, of course.

Every player thinks Zhao Ke is the most obvious plant in the game Jianghu, the kind who doesn't even bother to hide it.

While other players are still trying to gather top fighters and wear down some nameless wandering NPC in the jianghu, Zhao Ke kills the sect leader's prized disciple without lifting a finger.

While other players can't learn peerless martial arts because their favorability isn't high enough, Zhao Ke is figuring out how to turn down the Heavenly Demon Cult Master's Heavenly Demon Hand.

When other players finally uncover the mastermind behind an entire conspiracy, they discover that the culprit is just one of Zhao Ke's lackeys.

The players all demand to know why Zhao Ke won't admit he's a plant when he's making it so obvious.

But Zhao Ke always makes excuses: he's never taken a single cent from the game company.
