Assassin's Creed: A New Era

When people no longer yearn for wisdom, ignorance becomes the perfect disguise. The savage age, long thought to have vanished, has suddenly swept across the nation known as the New Federation once more, in the new century.

The roar of machines, the wan neon glow, the gilded scepters of the nouveau riche, and those hidden figures who secretly pry into supernatural powers.

The legendary assassins who have threaded their way through the currents of history are gradually awakening, determined to reclaim the rights that belong to the people.

As electromagnetic weapons and war mecha become the mainstay of battle, and mechanical bodies become the latest trend, roaring explosions and torrents of bullets compose the symphony of a new century. How will the assassins in short robes and eagle-beak hoods carry on their mission in this brand-new prelude to war?

Neon colors wash over people hurrying along, and no one notices a white shadow darting past. Close behind it trails a hidden blade, wrapped in snake-like currents of electricity.

“We serve the light, and labor in the dark.”
