Programmer's Guide to Immortality

As a programmer, I am definitely following this book.

The story is narrated very smoothly. Although it is an old routine, the author still came up with some new ideas, such as raising first, cultivating immortals, and not being able to make a name for yourself with less than three or five hundred thousand.

Don't be fooled by the name of this book. This is a fairy-like book that I have read. Although it is a bit cliché, the descriptions are very good, regardless of the technique, but the pictures are full of sense, and I was still fascinated.

After reading more than 70 chapters, I can see that the author's writing is not very good, and there is no plot in more than 70 chapters. It feels a bit like a running account, and it is very wordy, which means it is very dull. It is said that it is a program to cultivate immortality, but there is very little written about the program. If the author has read a lot of immortality novels, in fact, some magical powers and techniques in the novels are very similar to programs. For example, the magical power of the clone is distributed, the main body is the main node, the clone control is RPC communication, and the clone death induction is heartbeat detection. There are a lot of things that can be written at the language level, such as JAVA/C++ inheritance, abstraction, reflection, and more than 20 design patterns that can be applied at the magic level, and a completely new system can be developed. I feel like your background setting isn't very good either. It's either a purely modern background or a pure immortality background. Many things like this kind of immortality plus modern background can't be reconciled.

It doesn't explain it well at the beginning, it's written in a confusing way, and it insists on making the protagonist a silly boy. What do you want us readers to think?

I suggest the author rewrite this book, maybe many people will read it!
