Enchanting Beauty of Illusory Tang

In the first year of the Ruyi era, hundreds of demons emerged throughout the land. Masters of illusion, they lurked among humanity. Gu Jiujun, an ordinary boy from a traveling acrobat troupe in Bolai Town, is unexpectedly kidnapped by a mysterious delegation from the Nanyue kingdom of Guihai. Forced to travel with them to Chang'an as an exchange student from Guihai, he is caught up in their mission to present tribute. Behind the dazzling prosperity of the Wu Zhou era, dark currents run deep and conspiracies abound. The demon realm is in turmoil, and strange happenings plague the journey. In the shadows, three secret assassination groups from the demon realm, the spirit realm, and the borderlands are weaving a vast web, all converging on Chang'an.

Everyone is doing everything they can to protect something. Perhaps it is a person, a city, the exalted ruler, or the million innocent people of Chang'an... If you had the chance to change your fate, would you be willing to set out on a journey and learn to grow?
