The Unkind Man

Nan Xiao, a psychology consultant who has returned from studying abroad, has both looks and social skills. Yet she happens to meet Shen Luobai, a foul-tempered team captain with terrible people skills, and the two become the perfect “adorable age-gap couple” as soon as they meet.

The older man says that solving cases is all about evidence, and he has no time to play house with her. She tells him, “Come on, let's make a bet.”

Later, no one could have guessed that the terrifying Shen, whose temper was impossible to rein in, would become completely henpecked.

She says smoking is bad for your health, so he swaps the cigarettes in his pocket for candy. She says a man should be faithful to one woman, so he immediately slips a diamond ring onto her ring finger.
