The Empress Consort Is Always Clearing Her Name

[Completed] I'm the empress from the start! Jiang Qingyan transmigrates into a book, only to find herself cast as the vicious female antagonist: a dethroned empress with a heart as cruel as a snake's. So, as a medical PhD, she sets about clearing her name in every way imaginable. Not long afterward... At the victory banquet, the guardian general, returning triumphant from the battlefield, declares, “The person I owe the most thanks to is the dethroned empress. Without her, I wouldn't be where I am today.” The devilishly handsome king of a neighboring country says, “The person I owe the most thanks to is the dethroned empress of Beilin. Back then...” The empress dowager and a whole host of consorts say, “We thank the dethroned empress for inventing that skin cream, which keeps us looking young.” Even the common people across the land say, “We thank the dethroned empress...” The emperor narrows his cold eyes and looks down at the little woman reclining on the chaise longue. Slowly, he bends toward her, bracing both hands at her sides. “If you want to clear your name, why do you keep focusing on outsiders?” The man's long, strong fingers tap her forehead. “Does my beloved consort not know that I rule this land, hmm?” As the once-cold, imposing emperor slowly draws closer, Qingyan bites her handkerchief. When did she go from being the female antagonist to the heroine?! [Cold on the outside, warm on the inside ice prince VS fiery woman who's flirtatious on the outside, innocent within]
