The Wind That Blew Past Me Blows Toward You

A sweet story of mutual pining between deskmates. A heartwarming little tale inspired by a friend’s real-life experience. Seventeen-year-old Chen Jiayu and seventeen-year-old Yu Chao; twenty-seven-year-old Mrs. Yu and twenty-seven-year-old Mr. Yu. When they first met, Yu Chao said, “You’re pretty fair, cutie.” A year later, they became deskmates. Yu Chao bought her milk tea and invited her out to eat. Every casual gesture was filled with care and affection. In her senior year of high school, Chen Jiayu had an accident, took a leave of absence, and had to repeat the year. Her relationship with Yu Chao fell apart, and when they met again at university, they acted like strangers. Yu Chao pestered Chen Jiayu in every way, determined to uncover the truth about what happened back then. The scheming troublemakers who seemed intent on breaking them up turned out to be helping their romance along. But once the truth comes to light, will the two of them still be able to make it to the end? The wind that passes over me blows toward you, and the wind that passes over you blows toward me. It means the wind carries your longing to me and mine to you. When the wind reaches us both, we will meet.
