Tang Chess

Meng Yu, an amateur seventh-dan Go player, somehow found himself in the early Tang Dynasty. With his astonishing skills at Go, far beyond anything known in ancient times, he quietly forged a new world among the common people, one that shone alongside the grand age of iron and blood ushered in by the mighty Emperor Taizong as he expanded the empire. But as a man whose origins are unknown, can he enjoy the happy, wonderful life of a transmigrator under the watchful eyes of two emperors, Li Yuan and Li Shimin, who both lived through the Xuanwu Gate Incident? Believe it or not, beyond affairs of state, these two Tang emperors, who love and loathe each other, are more passionate about Go than anyone else! (For the sake of the story, the era, people, historical events, and related Go stories have been altered somewhat. Please bear this in mind, dear readers.)
