Divine Lord, Are You Planting Trees Today?

Ever since Qian Luo was left behind to plant trees, the Sacred Domain, silent for millions of years, had become lively. On the first day, she dug up a Fusang tree that had grown in Tang Valley for fifty thousand years. On the second day, she smashed the Heavenly Secrets Mirror that the Queen Mother of the West had left behind. On the third day, she broke four of the six legs of a Ran Yi fish, leaving it to wail for two days and two nights without rest... Xunzhi found it quite a headache. “My Lord, am I a bad person?” “What makes you say that?” “Bai Lian says I spend every day throwing my weight around in the Celestial Palace, taking advantage of Grandfather Heavenly Lord’s affection for me and finding trouble for all the immortals. The celestial elders only let me off because they respect the Heavenly Lord. In truth, I’ve offended every immortal in the entire Celestial Palace over the years.” Xunzhi nodded in agreement. “He’s not wrong!” “Waaah... I know that ever since I destroyed the sacred tree in the Sacred Domain, My Lord has disliked me. Hic... I know everyone dislikes me too. I’m just a... hic... hateful little immortal. If you dislike me so much... hic... why don’t you kick me out? Why keep me here... hic... to plant trees... Waaah...” Looking at the little one crying so miserably, Xunzhi felt quite a headache. “I don’t believe I’ve ever said I disliked you!”
