Dark Lamp Illuminates the Night

Folk photographer Su Wan received an anonymous, faded marriage letter and was forced to focus on the Shen family's old house in Qingwu Town, a century-old strange house. The scarlet lantern leads her into a bloody puzzle: the wordless tablet hides the resentment of the thirty-eighth generation bride of the same name, the reflection in the mirror erodes the real face, and the jade bracelet birthmark under the jade finger is pushing her towards the fate of the thirty-ninth generation sacrifice. At the end of the long bloody night, the February Orchid breaks out of the cursed land. What is captured in the film is no longer the wail of the dead, but what is illuminated by the bones and blood of all the lantern holders - a dawn that faces death.
