That Half-Immortal Girl

A dream returns to a chance encounter, yet in the end it is still too late. Let the world flourish; what does it matter if we never know each other?… Even if the green spirit circling the crown of the old willow tree lived another life... it still walked the same path... I only wish to keep you safe... The rest... doesn’t matter to me… “You chose this path yourself... so see it through...” The green spirit gazed at the girl before him, who had once wanted to give up. His eyes held both concern and hesitation. She could not give up, for this was a road with no end. Yet she looked so weary that he longed to tell her, “That’s enough. You can stop here.” The girl lifted her head and met the spirit’s green eyes, wiping away her tears. When she opened her eyes again, only determination remained. “Liu... I can do this.” At the very last moment, the girl returned to the little village where it all began. Covered in wounds, she leaned against the enormous willow tree. Her once lifeless eyes suddenly sparked with light, and a smile traced her beautiful face. In a voice as lovely as an oriole’s, she said, “Liu... do you... believe in fate?” She used all her spiritual power to seal the little village once more, waiting for their next meeting... This is a sweet romance. The heroine will keep growing stronger, though there will be a little angst...
