All beings are equal under the lance. A rake for plowing can crucify kings and nobles; a sharp sword for killing enemies can chop down common people. The literate vassals spoke full of benevolence, justice and morality to the common people, but delivered flattering words to the king; the kingdom's resolute warriors enjoyed the label of bravery among the nobles, but were hated by the common people. The king always lives, beneath the corpses of common people.
