The Zerg Code

Deep in the 300,000 mountains of the southwest, two families jointly guard and share a mysterious immortal fruit. Legend has it that anyone who eats it will live forever.

For a thousand years, the two families went to great lengths, using the blood of countless people to cultivate the fruit. But the fruit was scarce, while human greed was limitless. A disaster several decades ago tore the families apart, leaving all their elaborate schemes in ruins.

Decades later, modern technology advances at a breakneck pace. Research begins into futuristic technologies such as four-dimensional space, quantum mechanics, and artificial intelligence, and many unsolved mysteries begin to reveal their secrets.

A descendant who took part in that disaster finally sets out, for various reasons, to retrace the steps of their ancestors. Following the clues, they try to unravel the secret of immortality, only to discover that everyone has fallen into a terrifying trap.
