My friend do you remember Those years shrouded in darkness Ghosts walk across the land the sun becomes dim The moon turns blood red The river has dried up The world no longer grows life in the long night Who is it? Like a shooting star across the dark night The sound of hoofbeats brings our king The King who brings light and hope, Like a torch lighting up the dark night, Like the rain that nourishes the growth of all things The wind blowing in the Kangsas grassland The warriors sent by God to save us He shouted to wake up the crowd He leads us in battle He welcomes the dawn after the long night The warriors who fell before dawn His name will always be remembered in the world Tell us when he leaves If darkness comes again Those with the Black Cross Star mark will once again raise the Double Dragon Flag That will bring the drumbeat of victory ————————————Excerpted from Erathian Bard Poetry
