Shuo Chang

It is the time of the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Xihua, an ill-omened girl born in the fifth month under the Liu Song dynasty, is blamed for the deaths of her imperial uncle and birth father, then forced to be buried alive with them. Thankfully, Heaven takes pity on her and someone comes to her rescue. But cursed by fate, she brings ruin upon her benefactor’s entire village and becomes a deadly assassin from hell. To avenge her deep-seated hatred, she infiltrates the Tuoba royal palace by taking another’s place. She battles every villain, yet also brings about the deaths of a string of good people. Only when all is said and done does she learn that everything was a deception, and she was merely a pawn in the schemes of those around her... But who says she cannot turn the tide like Lord Mengchang? She refuses to believe it. She will become the player who moves the pieces of her own life.
