The Heavenly Court Avengers

A thousand years ago, the Yao Clan wreaked havoc among humankind. The immortals of the Celestial Realm descended to the mortal world and, after many years, finally wiped out the demons there. From then on, peace returned to the mortal world, and the Celestial Realm stopped interfering in mortal affairs, closing the passage that allowed immortals to descend.

But the immortals never imagined that one of the demons who had once wrought havoc among humankind still survived: Jiuying. It had not been completely killed. Gravely wounded, it concealed its aura and lay dormant.

When the Celestial Realm learned of this, it was deeply alarmed. But the passage between the Celestial Realm and the mortal world had already been closed, leaving the Jade Emperor and the Three Pure Ones powerless to act. In the end, they expended all their celestial power to forcibly open a small passage connecting the two realms.

The Celestial Realm sent three high immortals to the mortal world to eliminate Jiuying. But because the passage had been opened by force, it came with many restrictions. When the three immortals arrived, their memories were sealed, and they could only be reborn through reincarnation, waiting for a chance encounter to awaken their memories and regain their powers.

Thus began a hunt, with hunter and hunted on the run.
