I'm picky and always running out of books. Lately, I'm only reading xianxia, fantasy, and mystery novels with good prose. I like strong male and female leads who stand side by side. No weak little flowers, no saintly characters, no mindless stories, and no melodramatic romantic entanglements full of angst. Heroines Who Conquered the World in Those Years
Empress novels have surged in popularity this year, and many have been excellent. It’s a shame there are so few of them. Most of the rest are strong female lead stories I enjoy. I’ve been pretty busy lately, so I haven’t had time to write up introductions for some of the books I’ve added. I’ll fill them in when I can.
