A Young Lady’s Reading List
Books that keep readers turning the pages. I grew up reading books from my grandfather's study, like The Hu Family Generals, The Yang Family Generals, Tai Chi Master, Investiture of the Gods, Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Historical fiction, wuxia, and myths and legends are my favorites. In middle school, when the girls in my class were reading Qiong Yao and Xi Juan, I was reading Jin Yong. I didn't fit in with the girls, but I didn't have much in common
Pretty Interesting Historical Novels

These are all interesting historical novels about saving the nation in times of crisis, changing history, and achieving remarkable things. They span parallel worlds, ancient China, and old Europe, each with a different social setting. This is a list devoted to historical fiction, so please don't recommend other genres.
