The Tough Girl Youze

This is a story where the heroine pursues the hero, with both sweetness and angst. Their love is passionate and intense, but never so heartbreaking that it tears them apart.

Xu Zi dropped out of school at seventeen and entered the workforce at eighteen, making her way on the rough-and-tumble Zuimei Street. At nineteen, she earned a nickname that didn’t quite fit her: Scar Sis.

At twenty-two, on a snowy winter night, she was hit by a car after stepping in to help someone! That was the last straw. Righteous, kindhearted, and stubborn, she launched a campaign of pranks and revenge.

Zhuo Muqin was twenty-seven. On a snowy winter night, while escaping a killer, his car sideswiped a passerby and sent them sprawling. What a headache! From then on, this woman made trouble for him at every turn!

But as time went on, Xu Zi grew more and more uncomfortable with her sisters looking at him suggestively. She became increasingly self-conscious around him, and got angry when she saw him chatting animatedly with other women.

If these strange behaviors meant she was in love, then she had to say it out loud! Zhuo Muqin, are you ready for me to pounce on you?

They laughed, played around, and fought. Why was it only in the end that Xu Zi began to wonder whether she had thrown herself wholeheartedly into this love while he had hidden his feelings too well? It seemed she had never truly understood this man...

This is how they met:

“Hey, you!” She strode over and grabbed his clothes. He seemed surprised when she pulled him back and jumped in fright.

“Can’t you see you hit me? You clearly glanced over, then did nothing and left a poor, defenseless woman lying on the ground! Don’t you have any compassion? Fine, maybe you don’t. But you knew you’d hit someone and saw the injured person, and you still don’t feel guilty at all. What’s your deal? Are you a repeat offender?”

The face hidden beneath the helmet frowned in displeasure at the crazy woman before him. Through the helmet, Xu Zi could just make out the icy glint in his eyes. When he still didn’t react to her accusations, she got even angrier.

This is what they were like when they were dating:

One day, Xu Zi, who feared nothing, offended two thugs. Her beloved man casually tucked his hands into his pockets, pulled her behind him, and told the thugs, “I’m her man. Got a problem? Take it up with me!”

Wasn’t that incredibly cool?

This is what they were like when they fought:

“Zhuo Muqin, I’m not talking to you anymore!”

Her man wrapped her hand in his broad palm.

“Then I’ll talk to you!”

In the end, what mark did this earth-shaking romance, with the heroine pursuing the hero, leave behind?
