My Lord, That Maid Is a Princess

Transmigration? Being hunted? No way! Could I be any more unlucky? When other people transmigrate, they become princesses or princess consorts, or at worst, young ladies! What kind of bad luck did I have to land in a situation like this? I woke up being hunted, then woke up again to find myself the servant girl of some wicked, scheming prince... Sob! Scene Two: An imperial decree shattered a life that had been perfectly peaceful. A man stood by a lake full of lotus flowers, looking at a man dressed in yellow. A mocking smile played on his lips. “I hear the princess of Mingfeng is an idiot. Does royal brother expect me to marry one? Ha! You certainly think highly of me, Your Highness! I’ve contributed to this empire too, haven’t I? How can you be so heartless?” The emperor had spoken. No matter how unwilling he was, he could not disobey. Any attempt to resist was bound to be futile. The man stood by the lake for a long time. When he finally turned around, he realized he wasn’t alone. A young woman stood quietly in an inconspicuous spot below and to the side. She must have heard everything. When she came to her senses and saw him looking at her, she turned and walked away. He wanted to go after her, but could no longer find a reason to convince himself... A letter sent him wandering through the martial world. An imperial decree confined him within the locked palace walls. Perhaps it was fate. She was Princess Xiyan of Mingfeng, hunted after offending her domineering older sister. By chance, she became a certain man's servant, with no way to escape... And he, too, gradually fell into the trap of her tenderness and mischief! When they were forced to face their respective marriages, they had no choice but to surrender and return to their proper places! She was Princess Xiyan, and he was Prince Jing. Their marriage had been decreed... But when the veil was lifted, they discovered that through all those years, neither had ever truly escaped the other’s grasp!
