Apocalypse Magic Card Wars

The apocalypse arrives, bringing zombies, werewolves, vampires, corpse demons, aliens, extraterrestrial insect swarms... countless beings that humanity has imagined and feared, mostly from games and movies, with a few from anime, suddenly descend upon Earth. Cities once crowded with people become monster nests, while the wilderness turns into an even bloodier hunting ground. Just as humanity sinks into despair, people discover that killing monsters yields mysterious cards. Activating a card can grant powerful abilities or weapons, or even summon mighty creatures to fight by their side. Is this evolution, or extinction? (The magic cards feature, among other things, Warcraft, StarCraft, League of Legends, The Legend of Sword and Fairy, Heroes of Might and Magic III, and the One Piece anime.)
