The Little Devil and His Tyrannical Daddy

Su Xiaoyue is a humble preschool teacher whose greatest wish is to become a renowned educator, with students flourishing all over the world. But her peaceful life is turned upside down after she becomes Fan Mingyu's homeroom teacher. She also keeps crossing paths with Fan Mingyu's adoptive father, the chairman of the Sanyang Group. The two are constantly at odds over how to raise the child.

…

In the spacious, brightly lit executive office, Fan Shaoming spins back and forth in a black swivel chair, playing with a red brocade box in his hand as he glances now and then at the woman sitting across from him, patiently lecturing him.

Su Xiaoyue swallows. She's talked so much that she wants a drink of water, but she doesn't want to ask this man for one. She patiently says, “President Fan, Mingyu is a very smart child, but if you don't raise him properly, you'll ruin him as his father. This isn't love. You're hurting him. Your excessive indulgence lets him ignore his mistakes and go further and further down the wrong path.”

“Are you finished?”

Fan Shaoming stops spinning his chair, gets up, walks around the desk, and pulls Su Xiaoyue to her feet. Then he opens the red brocade box, takes out an expensive diamond ring, and slips it onto her finger. In a low voice, he says, “Mingyu and I discussed it, and we think you're an excellent teacher. I imagine you'd be an excellent mother, too. I'm not good at romance, so I'll get straight to the point. Take tomorrow morning off, bring your household registration booklet, and wait for me at the Civil Affairs Bureau.”

Su Xiaoyue turns green. She was lecturing him, and he was proposing to her!
