I've been reading web novels for years, and I've seen the same old tropes for just as long. Back when I started, I couldn't put them down. Now I usually just read the opening chapters, and rarely find a book I want to stick with. I'm sure plenty of you feel the same: every day, we hunt for something fresh, but it's hard to find a book that makes us slow down and savor it, laughing and crying along with the characters. For Fans of Everyday Fun Without Harem Romance
These are all books I personally think are pretty good. I’m not great at writing summaries, but most have no harem and no ridiculous power-level grinding. They’re all comfortable reads, with settings ranging from other worlds to modern cities. The main things are no harem and no endless killing. There’s farming, a bit of technology, sharing Earth’s culture, copying books, and heartwarming stories. If you know any fun, easygoing novels like these without harems, feel free to recommend them to me!

Simply put, a novel is a form of entertainment that helps you relax. If a novel makes you feel satisfied without being cringe and is a smooth, enjoyable read, then it’s a good novel. So there’s nothing wrong with calling a novel satisfying. Of course, what counts as satisfying depends on the reader’s experience. A beginner might love a story that makes a veteran cringe, while a story a veteran enjoys might not impress a beginner. Neither is better than the other; they’re just at different stages
