[Court intrigue and romance] + [Two strong leads] + [One couple, both devoted to each other] + [No love rivals, cliff falls, or amnesia] = [Reliable author, come on in]
She was the last survivor of the former dynasty, hiding in Dayan for ten years with vengeance in her heart. When her cover was finally blown and she was trapped with no way out, a jailer abused her, and she died.
She was the neglected daughter of the Prince of Yu’s household, born with a fate said to have killed her mother and regarded as an ill omen. Then she was brutally murdered by a servant, and her soul was torn from her body.
When the dynasty’s last survivor became a neglected legitimate daughter, Yu Jin vowed to defy fate. The road to revenge would be rough, but this time she was smarter. She wouldn’t go it alone. She’d form a party and take down the little monsters.
In her spare time, she could spar with the hypocritical madam, or give her scumbag stepsister, who loved men so much, a hundred of them. She could train the troops, tinker with pills, and experiment with poisons. They were bound to come in handy.
The Poisonous Miss became famous throughout the land, and she rather liked it.
Who could outplay whom on the chessboard of the realm? She narrowed her eyes and pointed at someone. “You’ll do. You may be crippled, but with a face like that, I suppose I can make do.”
He was a peerlessly handsome heir whom the world had forgotten. Noble, gentle, reserved, and decisive, he was indeed crippled. Whenever people spoke of him, they couldn’t help but lament his fate.

Now the Poisonous Miss’s rivals in love would have to cry.
But reality was full of surprises. Before she knew it, the Poisonous Miss had become the envy of the world, and every woman wanted to tear her from her place as the heir’s consort.
And that wasn’t the only surprise. The Poisonous Miss did a quick calculation: the time had come to bring the game of kingdoms to its close...

The Poisonous Miss was exasperated. “Believe it or not, I’ll go find him right now. I’m sure he’d be happy to let me eat him.”

The young attendant held his forehead. That was the young prince’s mansion. He wouldn’t dare go near it, even if he had a hundred lives. He tried to reason with his master. “My lord, how about I find you a few beauties instead?”
The Poisonous Miss stopped short and swept her sleeve. The young attendant went flying out of the courtyard.
The ailing heir was stunned...
