[Rebirth romance] + [Entertainment industry] + [One-to-one, both leads are pure] + [No annoying plotlines like love rivals or amnesia] = [Jump right in! Cai welcomes you]
She was a hugely popular star in the entertainment industry, but someone set her up at an awards ceremony, ruining her reputation.
She was a brilliant beauty queen at the School of Economics, but someone’s jealousy caused her to miss a step and fall to her death.
When the star became the campus beauty, she was both heartbroken and thrilled. She swore that no matter who she was, she would repay every grudge and every kindness… with her hand in marriage, perhaps?
Gentleness was the facade he showed his students; ruthlessness was the truth he revealed to his rivals. He could smile sweetly and leave women head over heels, or fly into a rage and make his opponents tremble.
Someone said, “Being a professor is my side job. Being a CEO is my main job.”
The star said, “Sheep are just wearing a disguise. A wolf is the real thing.”
Someone corrected her: “The disguise is to get close to the sheep. Otherwise, how would you ever fall in love with a wolf?”
A scheming professor married an adorable, absentminded little lamb, all because of a favor owed to her father. The professor had never needed a woman, but he never expected that one day he would be so anxious he could barely sit still just because the college girl at home was having dinner with a male student.
She felt that being with the professor was like being in hell. She could only admire him from afar like all the other girls, unable to stand up in class and proudly announce, “He’s my husband!”
[Little scene]
The professor thought his young wife had seemed unhappy lately, and wondered when they should go register their marriage.
She sulked. “I want a divorce.”
The professor paused, then nodded. “Let’s go to the civil affairs bureau.”
Her heart tightened, and she hurriedly tugged at his sleeve. “You really want to divorce me?”
The professor nodded honestly. First they’d have to get married before they could get divorced.
She wilted. “I lost my marriage certificate!”
The professor strode ahead. When he saw she hadn’t followed, he turned back with a teasing smile. “If you want a divorce, shouldn’t we get married first?”
She twitched, then happily looped her arm through his. “You should’ve said you wanted to get married! Then I wouldn’t have gone to all that trouble pretending I wanted a divorce.”
The professor was stunned. She’d found herself quite the convenient way out.
P.S. Sweet, sweet, sweet! Sweet enough to give you a toothache!
