The Foolish Prince's Beloved

She was the Prime Minister’s eldest daughter, yet her father despised her, and she grew up tasting all the bitterness of human nature.

She was promised to the Crown Prince, but her stepmother framed her and forced her to marry the foolish prince instead.

She had hoped to simply accept her lot and live out her days in peace, only to be ambushed and die young at sixteen.

Ha! Just because the tiger hasn’t shown its claws, do you really think it’s a sick cat? Even if she died, she’d drag a few people down with her!

Before her death, she swore a solemn oath: If I get another life, I’ll repay every grudge and avenge every wrong.

Heaven took pity on her and gave her a second chance. With nothing left to fear, she let her reckless nature run wild.

She bullied her own sisters, framed her uncles, defied her parents and elders, and showed no respect for the royal family.

Then, hand in hand with her foolish prince, they made a perfect husband-and-wife team:

They toppled the Crown Prince,

Removed the Prime Minister,

And helped a new emperor ascend the throne.

Everything went her way, her husband adored her, their marriage was harmonious, and their life was blissful. Yet she gradually began to realize…

The prince she thought was so foolish might not be quite as dim-witted as he seemed.

The Foolish Prince’s Rules:

First, my beloved consort is always right.

Second, even if everyone says my beloved consort is wrong, she’s still right.

Third, who dares say my beloved consort is wrong? Beat him to death!
