The Favorite Consort

In the great hall, the princess sent by the Ming Empire to marry into the Hei Yao Empire had become a vampire queen who had strayed into this era. She gazed coldly at the two neat rows of ministers. Ah, food! Calmly licking her lips, she turned her gaze to the throne high above and narrowed her eyes in delight. That person smelled even better! Upon the dragon throne, the sickly young emperor weakly reached out his hand. “Be my empress!” She curled her lips into a smile. “Fine!” From then on, the young emperor, pushed onto the throne as a puppet by his uncles and elder brothers, began the arduous task of keeping his unusual “little empress” well fed! [About the food] “Your Majesty, the empress refuses to eat!” The eunuchs and imperial cooks knelt in a trembling crowd. It had been ten whole days, and their new empress still refused to eat! He frowned. She wouldn't eat? He hurried to the rear palace, only to find her staring at him with a chilly expression. “Go find food. I'm hungry!” His expression turned peculiar. “The empress certainly has... unusual tastes.” With a flourish of his brush, he issued an imperial decree: Under the pretext of holding a selection of consorts! [Keeping you warm] “Empress, are you cold?” He ran his fingers over her skin, colder than a corpse's, and asked with concern. “I'm not cold.” “Do you need to warm up?” He tenderly cupped her icy fingers. “No.” “I still think you're cold.” He felt he was worrying far too much about her, unable to bear the thought of her suffering from the cold. When the cold-blooded vampire queen meets the scheming young emperor, it becomes a battle of the black eating the black!
