Happiness, Leave Me in Peace

Book One: Happiness, Don’t Come Back

Ningning’s new husband falls for someone else, so she gives everything up and gets divorced.

Her mother, who has heart disease, travels a long way to visit her son-in-law, leaving Ningning no choice but to ask a friend for help:

“Could I borrow your boyfriend and your house for a few days?”

When she brings her “husband” to meet her mother, her ex-husband shows up too, eager to do his duty as a son-in-law...

Book Two: Happiness, When Paths Collide

Jiang Fei and Yuan Zhiyu meet as clashing opposites, in a collision between sharp edges and in a collision between reality and love.

When money puts love to the test, and love puts human nature to the test, will the money-minded Jiang Fei choose the handsome, talented rich heir and a perfect, comfortable marriage, or give everything up to weather every storm alongside the rival she can’t stand?

How will Jiang Fei, a sharp and capable urban professional, pursue happiness in the narrow gaps of a demanding workplace?
