Immortal Lotus: A Life of Beauty, Flowers in Every Step

I'm three months younger than him, but I arrived at Kunlun a month before he did. He should have been my junior. Ten years later, he beat me until I was crawling, forcing me to stop calling him “Junior Brother Jing Yu” and start calling him “Senior Brother Jing Yu.” Twenty years later, I framed that fool, and he was sentenced to ten years of wall-facing reflection. A hundred years later, he carried me toward the Dreamweaving Pool and said he was willing to keep walking like this, all the way to the end of time. Two hundred years later, I was asleep among the purple flowers when I foolishly bit that fool, thinking that from then on we'd share eternity together. Nine months after that, the fool that I was became a blood-covered pincushion beneath Xuanming City, pierced by twelve golden arrows shot by that fool. I died without ever understanding why. Six months later, I was reborn through a lotus. That fool disguised himself as a young, handsome boy and came to see me, thinking I wouldn't recognize him... Of course I recognized him. After two hundred years together, I'd know you even if you were reduced to ashes. But if one day I became a few withered lotus stalks or a wisp of ash, would you still recognize me?
