Playing the Yandere! Why Are the Brooding Male Leads All Begging for My Affection?

As the game GM for the full-dive romance game Heartbeat Reboot, Jiang Chu prayed every day for the game to launch and the players to arrive.

Her job was to play a creepy, obsessive female side character and act like a yandere toward the four male leads...

At dawn, she brought breakfast to Male Lead One, who had been imprisoned.

In the morning, she followed Male Lead Two to work and took pictures of him, haunting him wherever he went.

In the afternoon, she arranged for thugs to bully Male Lead Three, then pretended to be his white knight and comforted him.

At night, she played a fake damsel who clung to Male Lead Four, but was really his unhinged lover.

Then, on the day the game launched and the players arrived...

Jiang Chu immediately wrapped up all four roles and stopped playing the yandere, content to wait for the players to pursue the male leads while happily looking forward to clocking out.

Who could have imagined that the four male leads she'd unilaterally written out of the story wouldn't sit still!

Jiang Chu, eyes wide with shock: "What do you mean, you thought I wanted to imprison you, so you locked yourself up?"

"No, I was the one secretly taking pictures of you. Why is there a whole wall of photos of me in your house?!"

When she realized something was wrong, she quit the game on the spot and ran for it. But...

Why had the four creepy male leads from the game all tracked her down?!
