Wang Chao's "Review of the Propagation of Ming Ci" discusses the spread of Ming Ci in the Ming Dynasty, and uses this to reveal the spread methods, distribution characteristics, and acceptance rules of Ming Ci, enrich the content of the literary history of specific genres, and complete the narrative of the development chain of Ci history. During the research process, based on literature, on the basis of traditional literature collection and interpretation, the intersecting perspective of literature and communication was used to observe the research object. The whole book has a linear structure with various elements of literary communication activities as nodes. It includes both a macroscopic examination of the overall communication of Mingci and a microscopic discussion of special phenomena. In terms of content, in addition to the introduction and conclusion, the nine chapters of the full text can be roughly divided into three parts: The first part (chapters one and two) generally outlines the conditions and background of the spread of literature in the Ming Dynasty, and examines the spread of Ming poetry in the overall situation of Ming Dynasty literature. The second part (chapters 3 to 7) introduces the main ways of spreading Mingci and their communication effects. The third part (Chapter 8 and 9) is an investigation of the special phenomenon of Mingci communication. In short, "Research on the Communication of Ming Ci" re-understands the characteristics and value of Ming Ci through the investigation of the spread of Ming Ci. It believes that Ming Ci inherits and develops the communication methods of previous generations of Ci.
