I haven't read it for a long time, but I can only remember a little bit of my feelings after reading it. Zhu Zhu and Lian Chuan are both very idealistic figures to some extent, especially in the academic humanities and social sciences circle. Maybe it's because I'm in it myself, so I still have some longing for such a pure life. Mao Mao's death and Zhu Zhu's death both have a lot of meaning in my opinion. I wish that only by becoming a cat's perspective can I see more of my "self". In my opinion, after turning into a cat, she not only re-examined her love, but also deepened her understanding of herself again. I think this novel generally pays tribute to Natsume Soseki's "I Am a Cat". I always compare it with it when I read it. Of course, this novel is written in a more "lighter" way.
