The book delves into the conflict between love and power. As an emperor, Li Ji's foundation was power, but his love for Mingde made it difficult for him to choose between power and love. He tried to satisfy his feelings for Mingde while maintaining imperial power, but it often backfired, hurting Mingde and putting himself in pain. Mingde is constantly suppressed by power in love. He longs for freedom and dignity, but cannot escape Li Ji's control. This conflict shows the helplessness and struggle of human nature in the face of power. The work also shows the characters' search for self-identity and belonging. Mingde's life experience is complicated, and he doesn't know where he really belongs. Whether in Shangguan Mansion or the court, he is like an outsider. His protection of the queen and prince was not only out of family affection, but also in search of a sense of belonging. Although Li Ji has supreme power, he is also confused in the face of love. He tries to confirm his emotions and status through the control of Mingde. This exploration of self-identity makes the character more three-dimensional and the story more in-depth. Of course, "Phoenix Totem" is not without flaws. Some readers believe that there are some loopholes in the plot line of the novel, such as the development of some plots is slightly abrupt and the behavioral motivations of some characters are insufficient. In addition, the relationship between the main characters is too sadistic and may make some readers feel depressed. But these shortcomings cannot cover up its brilliance, but make it more unique among many ancient novels. "Phoenix Totem" is a work full of charm and controversy. It presents us with a different kind of ancient world with its unique palace background, complex characters, sadistic love story and profound theme discussion. Huaishang uses her words to lead us into the love and hatred between Li Ji and Mingde, allowing us to feel the beauty and cruelty of love, the temptation and helplessness of power while reading. Whether you are a loyal lover of ancient novels or a reader who wants to explore different types of literary works, "Phoenix Totem" is worth reading and will take you to a different kind of literary feast.

The power setting of "Huitian" is unique, dividing power levels into levels A, B, C, D, and S. Power users of different levels have completely different abilities and strengths. This setting not only increases the layering and watchability of the story, but also provides rich possibilities for plot development. For example, as top powerhouses, S-class superpowers can cause huge waves with every action they take, becoming a key factor in pushing the story forward. Moreover, the superpowers also have settings similar to pheromones, as well as the beast-like form that Bai Sheng evolved in the later period. These settings add a different kind of fantasy color to the work, which is eye-catching.

"The Immortal" is outstanding in terms of character creation. The protagonists Zhou Rong and Simon are vivid and unforgettable. As the captain of Team 118, Zhou Rong is a typical tough guy. He has an optimistic and persevering personality. No matter how difficult and difficult the situation is, he always maintains a positive attitude, like a beam of light, illuminating the way forward for the team members. He is humorous and his "bad mouth" often comes up with a few witticisms in a tense atmosphere, instantly breaking the dullness and relieving everyone's stress. But at critical moments, he was able to show the courage and responsibility of a soldier. In order to protect his teammates and protect the hope of mankind, he risked his own life and shouldered the responsibility on his shoulders. His feelings for Si Nan are sincere and passionate. From initial curiosity and appreciation, they gradually develop into deep love. In the process of pursuing Si Nan, he has both the straightforwardness of a soldier and delicate tenderness, making this character full of charm.

This work is not just a simple fairy love story, it also deeply explores themes such as love and redemption, the good and evil of human nature, etc. In this world of cultivation, love is given many forms and meanings. The love between Gong Wei and Xu Shuangce is the power of mutual redemption. With each other's company, they gradually walk out of the shadows of the past and find their true selves. The love stories of the deputy CPs show the complexity of love, including madness, pain, helplessness, but also perseverance. At the same time, the novel also conducts a profound analysis of the good and evil of human nature. The portrayal of the character of Kitagaki Kamigami is particularly brilliant. He gradually went from an ordinary person to depravity and finally became a demon. The human struggle shown in this process is very thought-provoking. His experience tells us that human nature is not black and white. Everyone may get lost on the road to self-reconciliation. How to face the darkness in our hearts is a question that each of us needs to think about.

Huaishang's writing style is unique, his words are concise, clear and full of pictures. When describing fight scenes and case investigation processes, she is able to use vivid language to vividly render the tense and exciting atmosphere, making readers feel as if they are personally on the scene and feel the danger and tension at the scene. For example, when describing a fierce gun battle scene, she wrote: "The bullets roared through the air, grazing the car body and splashing a string of sparks. Yan Xuan slammed on the accelerator, and the car rushed out like a wild horse. Jiang Ting held the pistol tightly, his eyes were cold and firm, aimed at the enemy, and fired decisively." This description not only allows readers to clearly see the battle scene, but also feels the heroism and courage of the protagonists. In terms of character dialogue, Huaishang also showed superb skills. Through clever language design, she vividly displays the characters' personality traits and emotional changes.
