After Sleeping with the Villainous Boss, I Ran Away [Guideverse]

Zhuang You has been dreaming for years. In his dreams, he lies asleep in a man's arms.

The man is dressed in lavish robes, cool and handsome as an immortal banished from heaven. The way he looks at Zhuang You is like a desperate madman.

Just as Zhuang You has grown used to it, the man, who had been as motionless as a stone statue, suddenly moves.

He kisses Zhuang You reverently, then draws him into a night of passion, entwining with him until they are both spent.

Zhuang You can't move. He cries until he can barely breathe, nearly drowning in the man's tender yet forceful touch.

So, thoroughly lacking in backbone, he forces himself to wake up and flee just as the other man is about to go again.

The next day, he opens his eyes aching all over, only to be taken to the White Tower by a group of people who call themselves Operatives.

The White Tower detects that he has manifested as an S-rank sentinel, with a fluffy tapir as his spirit animal.

He attends classes and trains alongside his dream tapir, then meets the man from his dreams, Duan Meng. But Teacher Duan is refined and gentle, learned and wise, and has been the White Tower's most popular guide for a hundred years running.

Zhuang You is a little afraid of him, but Duan Meng is exceptionally gentle and considerate toward him. Little by little, Zhuang You falls for him, and by the time he realizes it, he is already hopelessly lost.

But just as Zhuang You works up the courage to confess his feelings, the refined and gentle Teacher Duan leads a horde of demons in a rampage that tramples the White Tower.

Standing amid a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, he gives the same obsessive, dangerous smile as in the dreams and slowly reaches out to Zhuang You.

"Weren't you going to confess? Let's continue."
