Surviving the Apocalypse

The apocalypse is disgusting, and living is painful.

Lin Yutang can't find a reason to keep living.

She doesn't want to live, but doesn't have the courage to kill herself, so she stubbornly keeps going.

What can I use to keep you here?

I offer you streets steeped in poverty, sunsets steeped in despair, and the moon over a shabby suburb.

I offer you the memory of a yellow rose I saw one evening, many years before you were born.
