Nobody said that choosing an owl meant I'd actually become an owl!?
Yeah, right.
Just like you see now, I died, but then I came back to life! Let's skip the process and focus on the result: at least I didn't actually die. Thumbs-up.jpg.
Anyway, after all that, I got dimensionally downgraded and had to reincarnate in another world, TT. Luckily, the other side promised to give me some cheats, but why are these options so hard to understand?
[1. Bird] [2. Dog] [3. Cat] [4. Owl] [5. Bat] [6. Vampire] [7. Green Pond] [...]
There were too many more to read through, so I skimmed them and asked the other side, "You're not even letting me be human?"
The other side was very patient, too. "It counts as human. It's required by the rules, sorry..."
All right.
"Can't you even tell me which world I'm going to?" "Sorry..."
I was out of options.
After careful consideration, I decided on number four, because I was a little dead right now.
Actually, I wanted to choose number fourteen, but [14. Lego] was still too much for me. As someone who even buys jigsaw puzzles already assembled, I was exhausted just thinking about it.
Once I made my choice, the other side tossed me into another world.
And so here I am, turning my head 180 degrees to stare at the kid behind me. You have to admit, his outfit looks awfully familiar.
He looks like a character from the manga I was reading right before I suddenly croaked for no reason. If that's the case, there's nothing to worry about. I'm just an owl who might not be able to talk, not a person.
Right, Damian Wayne?
Turns out, I should have worried.
As Damian casually grabbed me and tried to take me back to Wayne Manor, I amended my thoughts.
Damn it, why did it have to be Gotham?
