Jiang Qingyu met a man whom everyone respectfully called Mr. Yu.
The second time he saw her, Mr. Yu handed her a dating contract and asked if she would be his canary.
The smile faded a little from Jiang Qingyu's face. "I think you've got the wrong idea, Mr. Yu."
Mr. Yu was slightly taken aback.
She thought they would never meet again, but Mr. Yu began pursuing her, without a contract this time. Jiang Qingyu thought it over and agreed.
After all, Mr. Yu had broad shoulders, a slim waist, long legs, and a mature, handsome face. He was also a walking ATM. Jiang Qingyu liked him quite a bit.
They dated for over half a year, and their relationship grew more and more stable.
Jiang Qingyu accidentally dropped her phone and had to get it repaired. The phone was fixed, but unfortunately, the chat history couldn't be recovered.
After getting her repaired phone back, Jiang Qingyu messaged Mr. Yu, but he didn't reply. Mr. Yu was busy, and so was Jiang Qingyu, so she put it out of her mind.
But an hour passed, then three hours, then a whole day, and still no reply.
Later, his assistant answered the phone and told her that Mr. Yu had been in a car accident and had just woken up. Then he gave Jiang Qingyu the hospital's address.
Jiang Qingyu hurried to the hospital. Mr. Yu was leaning against the hospital bed, his expression still cool and handsome, though a bandage was wrapped around his head.
Before Jiang Qingyu could speak after walking over, Mr. Yu spoke in a cold tone she had never heard from him before. "Who let you in? Get out."
Jiang Qingyu: ?
Mr. Yu had lost his memory. He had forgotten everything that had happened over the past year and believed Jiang Qingyu was his canary.
Jiang Qingyu: "I'm really your girlfriend. If you don't believe me, look at our chat history. Where's your phone?"
Mr. Yu: "Broken."
Jiang Qingyu: "..."
Mr. Yu: "Then I'll look at your phone."
Jiang Qingyu: "...My phone broke a couple of days ago too. All the chat history is gone."
The man looked at her coolly. "I lost my memory, not my mind."
Jiang Qingyu: "..."
