Marriage first, love later / four-year age gap, older woman and younger man / spoiled rich young master who lives off his wife
Zhou Manzhu never imagined life could have so many ups and downs, with good and bad things all happening at once.
The good news: her fiance of seven years, who was an orphan just like her, had found his birth parents.
The bad news: her fiance had become a rich young master. His whole family looked down on Manzhu and forced them to break up, without even giving her a breakup fee!
The good news: a lawyer came to her, claiming to represent her biological older brother, who lived overseas, and handed over all his property and company shares to her.
The bad news: when her brother heard she was getting married, he specifically noted on the transfer agreement that the gift was for Zhou Manzhu and her husband.
Even if she was getting married for money, Zhou Manzhu didn't want to pick just any man.
Her standards were high. First, he needed a face to rival a superstar's.
Second, he needed an athlete's tall, well-built physique.
Third, he had to be a young, healthy, considerate, mature younger man.
Finally, he had to be a graduate of a prestigious university with impressive brains and emotional intelligence.
After looking around, Zhou Manzhu picked Chen Yuchuan at first sight. His looks and figure far exceeded her expectations.
Only his flamboyant, rebellious silver hair made him look anything but well-behaved.
The club owner ushered him in front of Zhou Manzhu with a flattering smile. "He's our newest top guy. Come on, Xiaochuan, shouldn't you call her Big Sister?"
Zhou Manzhu hadn't expected him to look so wicked, yet sound so sweet when he called her Big Sister.
Her ex heard about her somehow and came all the way over. Seeing a room full of handsome men, he was so furious his eyes nearly bulged out. He pointed at Zhou Manzhu and shouted, "Zhou Manzhu, have you no shame?"
The silver-haired top guy stepped in front of her and curled his lip disdainfully. "Wow, you're so mean. No wonder Big Sister dumped you. If only you were half as obedient and considerate as me."
Her ex was so enraged he nearly spat blood, and shoved the top guy away.
The top guy fell into the ice water, drenched from head to toe. Clutching his chest, he looked up at her with trembling eyes.
His reddened eyes made him look terribly wronged. He tugged at her pinky with a big hand, pleading, "Big Sister, it's so cold. Can you take me with you?"
Zhou Manzhu was about to get a nosebleed.

Zhou Manzhu and Chen Yuchuan registered their marriage, and she got the incredible fortune she had wished for.
Her new husband was also very much to her liking: obedient, considerate, and gentle. Their married life couldn't have been more comfortable.
His only flaw was that he was so poor that when he moved into her apartment, he didn't have enough clothes to make up two complete outfits.
But that was nothing to rich woman Zhou Manzhu. In fact, she found poor little Chen Yuchuan so pitiful that he made her want to dote on him.
Until she saw her poor husband parachute into the Chen Group, where everyone secretly called him the Crown Prince.
Zhou Manzhu: ?

Chen Yuchuan had always hated his family's plans for his life. When he learned they were going to send him abroad, he ran away from home.
His family cut off his cards and left him with no way out, so he had no choice but to ask a friend who ran a club for help.
His friend looked him up and down, then smiled with satisfaction and put an arm around his shoulders, his voice enticing. "Young Master Chen, I happen to have a fast-money gig for you. I guarantee you'll make money without lifting a finger."
Chen Yuchuan was too hungry and too broke to resist the temptation.
Later, Chen Yuchuan gave the gig a name: A Hundred Ways for a Kept Man to Make His Wife Happy.
As it turned out, he had far more talent for living off his wife than for being a rich young master.

Everyone in the capital knew Chen Yuchuan, the Crown Prince of the wealthiest Chen family, for his defiance and wild ways.
Hoping to temper the young heir, the Chen family decided to send him abroad for further studies, so he could inherit the family business when he returned.
Chen Yuchuan scoffed at the idea, ran away from home, and declared, "I, Chen Yuchuan, would rather starve and die poor than accept food handed out in contempt. I'll make my own way in the world!"
His parents scoffed just as hard at their son's melodramatic declaration. They cut off all his money, sure he'd come crawling back within days.
One day, two days, three days... It was the Nth day since their son had run away.
At last, the Chen parents spotted their son, who had vowed to make it on his own, trailing after the famous rich woman Ms. Zhou in the capital, calling her "Big Sister" at every turn.
He looked obedient and polite, even a little... cute.
Ms. Zhou greeted them with her son and introduced him with a smile. "This is my husband. He's timid and inexperienced, and this is his first time at a banquet like this. Please excuse him."
The Chen parents were dumbstruck: ????
Who was timid? Was she talking about that lawless rascal from the Chen family?
Who was inexperienced? Was she talking about their young master, born with a silver spoon in his mouth?
Behind Ms. Zhou, their supposedly timid and inexperienced son was winking and grimacing at them.
Young Master Chen: Well... I'm unrivaled at living off my wife. Doesn't that count as making my own way in the world?
