Isn't It Normal to Be Cut in Half and Restart When Encountering Silver?

As the title says.

In the movie Gintama: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya, Sakata Gintoki, who was killed by his own hand, picks up the strongest man's... corpse, its condition unclear after he died in battle.

After being killed by his own self from five years in the past, the future Gintoki from five years later should have ceased to exist along with the end of the story.

Who would have thought he'd open his eyes and find himself alive, with a corpse in tow?

After patching himself up, he realizes there's no wooden sword at his hip, so he simply starts using the corpse as a weapon.

After all, the elder was the strongest weapon after being broken, and this corpse was also cut apart. Both have been cut, so corpse = elder = strongest weapon.

Makes perfect sense, so he uses it without a second thought.

Until one day, the weapon starts talking.

"Seriously, it's bad enough that you use my body as a weapon, but you even [beep, ][beep, ][beep, ] me? That's sooooo mean. Have you thought about how you're going to apologize?"

Gintoki responds by picking his nose and breaking out in a cold sweat:

"What? You let me use your body, so [beep, ][beep, ][beep, ] is totally fine, right? I, Gintoki, am not apologizing."

And so the two white-haired men get into a brawl.

★Reader's Guide★

1. A crack pairing, Gojo Satoru x Sakata Gintoki.

2. Getting back into writing with comedy and banter. Redemption (x), absurd comedy (check), post-apocalyptic road fiction (X). It's a Gintama story viewed through the lens of a Jujutsu Kaisen movie (check).

3. A steadfast happy-ending fanfic, more or less the story of two people whose respective stories could be called "bad endings" dragging each other forward (???).

4. To be absolutely clear, the reference to being axed in the title isn't meant as a malicious joke, and I don't accept malicious jokes about it either. You know which jokes are purely malicious. After a long time, I came to terms with being axed as a kind of state of mind. I wrote this story to heal myself, with the aim of starting over after experiencing the worst. See point 3 above. Some people might not understand. I'm sorry if you can't accept it. Until we meet again, if fate allows.

5. Respect Sorachi. I can't respect iivv. And since the Gintama movie doesn't have a concept of OOC, while the Jujutsu Kaisen cast is guaranteed to be OOC, it follows that this story is OOC.

6. I still can't capture the authentic Gintama flavor. I've accepted reality, but I'll do my best to tell a good story.
