After returning from a parallel world, you do something unusual at the welcome party: you start a conversation with your boastful, idiot American colleague.
After awkwardly stumbling through a bunch of small talk, you finally steer the conversation toward what you really want to ask.
"So, you're saying your friend has fallen for an agent from another organization, but the other person is a bit older and seems to like someone else. You want to ask how your friend can get over these feelings?"
"...Yeah."
"Everyone else comes to me for advice on how to get a date. Yours is a pretty unique question."
"I'll ask someone else, then."
"Wait... I didn't say I wouldn't help. But could you satisfy my curiosity first?"
"If you're going to ask whether my friend is me, then shut up."
"No, I just want to know who the person your friend has a crush on is, and what they look like."
You look at your tall, long-legged, still-dashing middle-aged agent colleague in front of you. You hesitate for a moment, but answer honestly:
"He's really handsome." He really is. Almost fifty and still incredibly charming.
The idiot American rubs the ice in his cup.
"Blond hair and blue eyes." The classic American boy.
The idiot American narrows his eyes.
"Oh, what about his hairstyle? If your friend likes slicked-back hair, I'd have to question your... taste in friends. You do hate people like Wesker, after all," the idiot American presses.
You find his attitude baffling, but keep describing him. "No way. He has a middle part!"
Your voice suddenly rises, drawing everyone's attention. The idiot American's expression turns strange as he looks you up and down.
After a long pause, he speaks slowly and hesitantly. "Y-you, uh... Your friend wouldn't happen to like..."
It finally dawns on you. You look at the man in front of you...
Blond hair and blue eyes, a middle part, a DSO agent, and pretty good-looking.
You hurriedly yell, "It's not you!"
Does every blond guy with a middle part have to be you, Leon S. Kennedy?!
Much later, an unexpected collision between two worlds creates a dimensional crisis. As you and your boyfriend join hands to save the world, you run into your idiot American colleague.
The three of you stare at one another.
Idiot American: "Hello, Leon Kennedy?"
Your boyfriend: "Hello... Leon Kennedy."
You quietly crouch down. "I admit it. My friend is me."
[About You]
Elizabeth Carter, reborn as an American after being born in China, gets a brand-new life.
Born into the middle class, with an excellent detective for an aunt, a spy-killer for a teacher, as well as a spy-killer and a hacker-killer and a mob boss. Her boss is an elite billionaire, her friend from another era is a Time Lord, and her daily work is saving people under the direction of a superintelligent AI. Saving people, and then saving more people.
Anyone who got a second life like that would want to become a better person, right? So there's nothing wrong with becoming a "hero" who saves others.
But life is always full of surprises. Liz, whose life had been smooth sailing, encountered the "wall-breaker" of her life:
Leon S. Kennedy.
A super-handsome agent from an anti-bioterrorism organization, met during a joint operation. Funny and charming (always making suggestive jokes), popular with beautiful women (a flirt), incredibly capable (practically superhuman), with a life story so legendary it feels as if a movie protagonist stepped into the real world.
After meeting Leon, Liz feels like she's turning into a villain from a novel. Every day, she swings between jealousy and pushing herself to keep up, while pretending to act nonchalant around this "legend."
Then one day, an accident sends her to another world in a time machine.
In the ruins of a crumbling city, she meets a stranger.
Blond hair and blue eyes, a middle part, deep lines etched around his eyes, and a heavy, melancholy air. He calls himself "Leon Kennedy."
[Before You Read]
1. The main story is told in third person. Although the blurb features the original Leon extensively, the heroine's true pairing is with the remake Leon. He covers RE2, RE4, and RE9. I'm here for the looks :D
2. The heroine's full name is Elizabeth, but four Chinese characters are too much of a mouthful, so she's usually called Liz. She was an ordinary person who died and was reborn. Her new world is a modern setting combining the original Resident Evil, POI (Person of Interest), and a little Doctor Who. There are lots of original settings. The heroine's background is mainly based on the POI world. An accident transmigrates her once more, this time into the Resident Evil remake world. The main plot is roughly a cycle of saving people, falling in love, and saving people again.
3. Taking advantage of the release of Requiem to ride the wave of hype. RE2 Leon as a puppy didn't draw me in, and RE4 Leon in his prime didn't get me moving, but Uncle Leon in the mainline RE9 is just irresistible XD
4. The characters have flaws. I write fanfiction for fun, so let's respect one another.
5. There will be lots of invented timelines and OOC characterization.
Theme: This story is dedicated to Leon S. Kennedy. I admire your noble character and unparalleled sense of justice.
One of these two people regards saving people as their job, and the other pursues helping others throughout his life. It is conceivable that they will be very compatible. Warren is a real person. No matter how ambitious he was in the past, he still couldn't control his weakness in the face of illness and death. Our Uncle Ang is not like that (howling)
Hahahahahaha, I feel a little regretful that Liz is not the villain, otherwise Leon would definitely have his clothes stripped off again.
What does double dressing mean, a woman disguising herself as a man?
Wuwuwu, why did we split up and stop updating without even revealing our names... Boss, can we still have this bite? . . .
Come on, madam, it's rare to find a biohazard article 💪
555 Boss, I dreamed that the May Day update was updated 😭 I woke up before I even clicked on it.
I'm a fool, I just realized that this world is a reset version of the world 😂
Please update, boss 😭 There is no meal replacement.
Hahahahaha, hitting the knee comes from the inheritance of Knee Man! Leon is really big, although he still can't compare to Ke~
Hahahahahahaha, what a powerful headbutt!
