The emperor not only accepted the minister's proposal, but also got the Grand Tutor to agree to marry his most beloved granddaughter to the prince.

When Su Qilue learned of it, he coldly spat out one word: "Absurd."

The emperor was determined to make this marriage happen and ordered them to wed at once.

On their wedding night, the red veil was lifted. Before the young woman could say a word, Su Qilue thought that since he could not see, she certainly would not want to marry him if not for the imperial decree.
