After Accidentally Binding Myself to the Darkened Protagonist of a Western Fantasy World

When Cha Xue found the protagonist and tried to bind himself to him, Gravice had just extinguished the last trace of conscience in his heart with his own hands.

All that remained in his mind was the urge to destroy and wreak havoc. He killed at every step, personally slaughtered his enemies, and piled their corpses into mountains as their blood flowed like rivers.

Cha Xue's original form, a ball of light, floated in front of Gravice. His soft, gentle voice carried an innocence untouched by the world: "Hello, Host. I am your System. Will you bind with me? I'll be very, very good to you."

Gravice did not even lift his eyelids. His thin lips coldly spat out a single word: "Get lost."

Gravice did not believe anyone could be kind to him without expecting anything in return. Yet Cha Xue seemed not to understand what he was saying. He took human form and followed him everywhere, refusing to leave no matter how often Gravice tried to drive him off.

Just as Gravice was considering whether to crush this reckless ball of light, his enemies joined forces to corner Cha Xue. They tried to force and bribe him into poisoning Gravice.

Gravice did not stop them. He had already been betrayed countless times, so one more would make no difference.

But then he heard the young man refuse without hesitation: "Keep dreaming! I would never hurt my Host!"

Gravice's eyelashes trembled faintly, then slowly lowered.

Cha Xue had no idea why Gravice suddenly agreed to bind with him. Overjoyed, he changed back into his original form and rolled around in the man's long-fingered palm.

Cha Xue diligently stayed by Gravice's side as he took revenge, until the main System discovered the binding error, opened a passage for him, and summoned him back.

The main System said, "Your mission is complete. You can come back now."

Cha Xue was both bewildered and delighted. "My mission is already complete?"

Cha Xue was thrilled. He eagerly shared the good news with Gravice and said goodbye, only to discover that he could not return to the System space. The entire space was beyond his control.

How could this be?

Cha Xue looked panicked. Gravice lifted his eyes before him, his gaze steeped in impenetrable darkness. "You still don't understand? You can't go back."

He had come to Gravice of his own accord, and now wanted to leave him of his own accord. How could that be allowed?

Gravice gave a soft laugh. "How pitiful. You're so good to me, yet I repay your kindness with betrayal."

He cupped the young man's pale face in his large hand, gazed deeply into his beautiful, tear-damp eyes, then bent down to kiss his cheek, slowly and gently.

"You can only blame your bad luck."

He had met Gravice at his darkest.

Guide and warnings:

An innocent, healing beauty of a System bottom x a world-weary man who once wanted to destroy the world, then becomes a love-addled, darkened, unhinged top.

The bottom is an unfinished System with defects.

The top is extremely unhinged and powerful, corrupted to the utmost, with terrifyingly strong possessiveness.

It should be a fairly short story, 1v1, happy ending.
