And so the big cat set off.
It wore a little pumpkin hat and gently closed the door behind it.
The big cat was the sort of cat that, despite being nine years old, refused to admit it was old.
"Humans can't tell how old I am anyway."
Muttering this to itself, it slowly left home.
It had only an inaccurate map and a belly full of feelings that belonged to the night.
So where did it want to go?
It just wanted to find the person who had abandoned it.
It wanted to ask what humans liked and what they hated.
The big cat was tired of being lonely and unloved.
It thought that if only it understood what it had done wrong and corrected it,
then soon, a new human would adopt it.
"All right. Then please give me something a cat can drink."
It walked into the little coffee shop.
A coffee shop in a little town where it was always night.
And so the story began.
